Would you like to make a real impact on the discussions shaping the future of Europe and Asia? Are you keen to work with a diverse international team as part of a multinational thinktank? Do you have experience working in a thinktank, or are you looking to gain policy experience?
The Student Think Tank for Europe-Asia Relations (STEAR) aims to promote the values and interests of European and Asian Youth, strengthen ties and deepen relationships between the two continents. The two continents together are home to more than two billion people, including fourteen of the world’s twenty largest economies, and yet cooperation between European and Asian countries is consistently dogged by a lack of understanding and hostile political relations.
STEAR is seeking seven founding Board Members to join the Executive Board for 2021-2. The Board Membership is voluntary and remote.
A year in STEAR will offer you:
- The opportunity to work in a motivated, multi-cultural and professional youth think tank
- The chance to build a network of young people and key stakeholders across Asia and Europe
- The opportunity to shape the direction of a fledgling thinktank, and take the lead on innovative and creative projects
- A professional development programme formed out of hands-on leadership experience and our Training programmes.
All young people (18 to 30 years old) with a strong command of English are welcome to apply. We are looking for board members who are creative and dedicated, who can take the initiative and shape the direction of a fledgling thinktank.
Candidates should send their application to firstname.lastname@example.org
